Larry started fast draw in 1989. Even as a small boy, he always had an interest in the old Western shows, and the western hero's. When he was about ten years old, he saw a video of Bob Mundon at a gun show. He loves what he saw, and became more interested in the western way of life.
In 1987, Larry met Floyd Hamlett. Hamlett was a trick shooter, and participated in fast draw. Two years later Larry contacted Floyd, and they got to together, so Larry could learn fast draw.
Larry traveled many years with Red Jordan. He looked at Red as a second father and mentor. Larry and his club, Rusty Guns, have held many contests though the years.
Larry was instrumental in getting our web site up and running, and has always been a huge supporter of our sport!
