Jim started fast draw in 1968, with the World Fast Draw Association. He started shooting in Arizona with Pat McMahon. Jim has been shooting all over the world.
He started in the Ohio Fast Draw Association in 1986. Jim, along with wife Edna has enjoyed their experiences and the people they have met. Jim and Edna have always been willing to help out a new shooter or someone who feels they are not gaining speed and accuracy. Jim has always been willing to share his equipment, with any one who needs it. And if you need a part, just ask Jim! He has done a variety of gun work. From making barrels, to deepening and lengthening notches.
The Yuraseks, along with family members, formed the Allegheny Fast Draw Club. They have held several contests in Pennsylvania.
Jim has held many OFDA and World titles and records in our sport. And has also served as Range Officer.
Jim has many times though the years given his award at a contest to a new shooter to help encouraged them along!
