William R. “Biag” Sajovic, age72, passed away August 21, 2021,
in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was born February 12, 1949, in East Cleveland, Ohio
to Rudy and Elizabeth (Miller) Sajovic.
William was self-employed and the owner/operator of Sajovic & Son Cement Inc. for 21 years, retiring in 2020. He was a member of the Ohio Fast Draw Association and the Buckeye Rangers Fast Draw Club. William was also a member of the Marine Corps League in Mentor.
William is survived by his son, Anthony (Patricia) Sajovic of Mentor; step-daughters, Vicki Gain and Heidi Snell; step-son, Robert Knowles; brothers, Rudy (Linda) Sajovic and Robert (Rosie Helt) Sajovic; sister, Mary (Bryan) Lequyea; granddaughters, Heather (Bryan) Mast, Samantha (James) Boggs, Amanda (Robert) Hoffman, Marissa Gain, and Kayla Knowles; grandsons, Ryan Knowles and Alex Knowles; great grandchildren, Bradyn Mast, Jacob Mast, Tyler Mast and Logan Boggs; dear friend, Kate McNallen
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sajovic in 2017 and his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for William will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 27, 2021, at St, Bede Catholic Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor, Ohio. Friends will be received August 27, 2021, from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Biag’s memory to the Col. Justice Chambers Marine Corps League, 872 Twinbrook Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
