BELOIT -- Gerald Wayne "G.W." Jones, 70, died Sunday, March 28, 2010.
He was born Nov. 23, 1939, in Chanute to Hosea and Virginia Branum Jones.
Survivors include his former wife, Judith Jones, of Chanute; sons, Robert Jones, of Chanute,
and Jimmie Jones; sister, Betty Kern, of Warsaw, Mo.; brother, Buck Jones, of Chanute;
daughter-in-law, Anna M. Sears, of Chanute; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and his companion, Jennifer Knick.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Brian and Gerald A.
Cremation has taken place and services will be private.
Interment will be in Chanute Cemetery. McDonald-Roberts Funeral Service,
Beloit, is in charge of arrangements.
