Laura and TD Campbell

LAURA AND TD CAMPBELL - INDUCTED MAY 3, 2025          
In 2007 I was searching the web to try and find a quality double  rig  for my two new 45 caliber Colt clones. I typed in quick draw holster maker. What popped up was a video of Howard Darby and Greg Danielson shooting blanks at balloon targets in a World Fast Draw Contest. I never knew about this kind of shooting. I contacted Howard to see if anyone in my area was doing this type of shooting. He led me to the Shawnee Bandits Fast Draw Club run by Duke and Carol Bonnett. We Joined up with them in 2007 and they trained Laura and me. We are still active in the OFDA-I. As The Pullin’ Triggers Fast Draw Club. Currently, we sponsor two OFDA-I contests each year. We have provided help whenever we can. We have loaned guns and targets and provided parts, shells, and primers when other shooters forgot to bring theirs to a contest. We have loaned out guns and holsters on occasion to new shooters and have helped to train many of them at our home range. I have been the OFDA-I record Keeper, and currently I am a Safety Officer, Auditor, and Line Officer. Laura was a past Secretary of the Southern Division. Currently she is a Line Officer and takes care of the score board at contests. Laura also is our only active woman shooter so for the interim she competes with the men. Having Laura and I nominated and inducted into the OFDA-I  Hall of Fame is truly an honor, and a privilege and we Thank You.

The Campbells have been instrumental in the continued success of Ohio Fast Draw. They are always ready to help, whether it be setting up, tearing down, running the line, running their own contests, feedback and ideas, updating the scoreboard, helping new shooters, or anything else they can do to help. Laura shooting with the men gives everyone a run for their money and she is a fierce competitor.
This nomination and induction is well earned and well deserved by the Campbells.
